Teaching

Current

Since 2009, I have a postdoc position in Pisa which does not involve any teaching duties. However, starting January 2011, I will teach a lecture course here in Pisa on Einstein manifolds. More detailed informations follow later this year.

Past

During my (undergraduate and graduate) years at ETH Zurich, I taught and organized the following.

  • Winter 08/09: Exercise-Tutor: Calculus I for Engineers
  • Summer 2008: Exercise-Tutor: Functional Analysis and PDE for Math majors
and Organizer of Graduate Seminar: Geometric Flows III
  • Winter 07/08: Script Nachdiplom-Lecture
and Organizer of Graduate Seminar: Geometric Flows II
  • Summer 2007: Exercise-Tutor and Main Organizer: Measure Theory for Math majors
  • Winter 06/07: Research Semester at AEI Golm and FU Berlin
  • Summer 2006: Script Nachdiplom-Lecture
and Organizer of the Zurich Graduate Colloquium
  • Winter 05/06: Organizer of an Undergraduate Seminar: Geometric Heat Flows
  • Summer 2005: Exercise-Tutor and Main Organizer: Measure Theory for Math majors
  • Winter 04/05: Exercise-Tutor: Calculus I for Math/Physics students
  • Summer 2004: Exercise-Tutor: Calculus II for Math/Physics students
  • Winter 03/04: Exercise-Tutor: Complex Analysis for Math/Physics students
  • Summer 2003: Exercise-Tutor: Calculus II for Math/Physics students
  • Winter 02/03: Exercise-Tutor: Calculus I for Math/Physics students

Moreover, I also taught courses designed to help students prepare for their exams, organized by the association of students in mathematics and physics (VMP) at ETH. During one week (20 lessons of 60 minutes), I had to through the whole material of the two semester courses Calculus I and II. I gave such a course in the Summers of 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2008. I also helped my PhD advisor oversee Bachelor’s and Master’s Theses.
